Zion’s Diner Donates to Local Families in Need
Zion’s diner was held after the worship service on 7 December 2014. A free will offering plus matching funds netted a approximately $1340 that was given to local needy families.

Zion’s Diner was held after the worship service on 3 August 2014. A free will offering plus matching funds netted $900 which was given to local families.
Zion’s Diner Donates to Local Mission
Zion’s Diner was held after the worship service on 30 March 2014. A free will offering of $537 plus matching funds of $500 from an anonymous doner were donated to a local mission. The meal consisted of chicken, potatoes, green beans, salad, dinner rolls, and desserts.

Zion’s Diner Donates to Parkway Campus Life
Zion’s Diner was held after the worship service on 17 November 2013. The meal consisted of ham, sweet potatoes, scalloped potatoes, green beans, salad, dinner rolls, and desserts. The free will offering in the amount of $350 was donated to the Parkway Campus Life program.
Zion’s Diner Donates to the Van Wert County Youth for Christ
Zion’s Diner was held after the worship service on 10 March 2013. Diners from Zion and the community enjoyed fellowship and a delicious meal of barbequed ribs, chicken, baked potato, salad and dessert. Proceeds totaling $550 from the free will offering were given to the Van Wert County Youth for Christ organization which is active in the Parkway Local School system.

Zion’s Diner Helps a Parkway Student
Zion’s Diner was held after the worship service on 4 March 2012. Zion’s fellowship area was filled with people from Zion as well as from neighboring churches. Everyone enjoyed fellowship and a delicious meal to raise money to aid a Parkway Middle School student’s education. Proceeds from the free will offering, which came to $650, will help cover the cost of equipment to enhance the education of a legally blind student. Nearly 90 meals were served or taken home as carry-out meals. Zion’s diner is held 2-3 times a year after the worship service. Proceeds are used to support local mission, community and individual needs. The public is always welcome and carry-outs are available.
